What's in the Islands of Marathon, Florida?

Marathon has always been an impressive place for the visitors and for who ever set foot here. Marathon Key is just different from any other place I know!

Where else can you find such a stunning view or a more refreshing site that the one at the beginning of the Old Seven Miles Bridge just before you live the Marathon Keys?

Views taken in the area of the Seven Mile Bridge in Marathon, Florida.

This site has this almost a magical power of attraction, the section of the Old 7 Mile Bridge between Marathon and Pigeon Key, is open to pedestrians and bicyclers. The parking located on the right hand side of US 1 just before you get to the bridge is free.

The Old 7 Mile Bridge was destroyed by the 1935's Labor Day Hurricane but the old sections of the bridge remain standing. The spot is constantly being visited by travelers, and I think that it deserves a especial occasion on our visits to Marathon.

The many other attractions of Marathon, Florida  are as interesting as the one mentioned above.
