The Key West Historic District.

Most of the Key West historic sites are located in the area of the Key West Historic District, best known as the Old Town. The sites are very closed one to the other, and since Key West is not such a big city just walking from one site to other is a good choice.

The Historic District is considered one of the U.S historic points, and it contains historic buildings, structures and landmarks Some of the most important areas of the district are the Key West Historic Seaport, the Mallory Square, White Head Street and the Southernmost point.

View of Key West Historic sites.

Key West was the first town to be built by the early settlers of these islands, so history is a very important part of Key West.
